There are some lovely beaches just a short half an hour drive away from Libbear Barton. Widemouth Bay is a long open bay, popular for surfing and when the tide is out, there are lots of rock pools to explore. Why not grab a coffee (or hot chocolate) from the café on the beach before heading down for a wander.

3 miles up the coast from WIdemouth Bay is Bude. With stunning beach huts (which you can rent for as little as £10 a day!) and a sea pool nestled into the foot of the cliffs, Bude is a great family beach.
