Terms and Conditions for Libbear Barton Donkey Naming Competition

  1. Eligibility:

    • The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, except employees of Libbear Barton Ltd, their immediate family members, or anyone else connected with the competition.

  2. Entry Requirements:

    • To enter, participants must comment on the official competition Instagram or Facebook post with two name suggestions for the miniature donkeys.

    • Only one entry per Instagram or Facebook account is allowed.

  3. Entry Period:

    • The competition starts on 26th January 2025 and ends on 1st February 2025. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

  4. Selection of Winners:

    • Winners will be chosen based on the creativity and suitability of the suggested names, as judged by the Libbear Barton team.

    • The decision of the judges is final and not subject to appeal.

  5. Prize:

    • The winner(s) will receive a 50% discount on a stay of up to one week at Libbear Barton, to be booked directly with us. If only one of your names is chosen, you will receive a 25% discount.

    • The prize can be redeemed for stays in Libbear Barton’s Mole End cottage between 3rd February - 31st December 2025, subject to availability for up to 7 nights and subject to our normal booking terms.

    • The prize does not include transportation, meals, or any other costs associated with the stay.

  6. Prize Conditions:

    • The discount is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash equivalent.

    • The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.

  7. Notification of Winners:

    • Winners will be notified via a comment or direct message on Instagram of Facebook within 7 days of the competition closing.

    • Winners must respond within 7 days of being contacted to claim their prize.

  8. Publicity:

    • By entering the competition, participants consent to the use of their Instagram or Facebook username and donkey name suggestions for promotional purposes by Libbear Barton.

  9. Liability:

    • Libbear Barton Ltd is not responsible for any technical issues or unauthorised access to the competition post or entry submissions.

  10. Modification and Cancellation:

    • Libbear Barton reserves the right to amend these terms, extend the deadline, or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond their control arise.

  11. Acceptance of Terms:

    • By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
