Chemical checks and water treatment by Westcountry Spas
We will treat the water with chlorine during set up. We will then return every other day to check and adjust the chemicals as necessary, you don't have to be present for this but please do not restrict access as it is important for us to check the chlorine and PH levels are satisfactory and the filter is clean in order to guarantee the water quality and reliability of the hot tub. If you have a hot tub for a short hire no chemical checks may be necessary.
Water contamination by guests
The water in the hot tub will be clean with the correct chemicals added to it, it is up to you to keep it that way. The only way the water can get dirty is if you contaminate it, If you add any products to the water such as bubble bath, bath oils/salts or colourants or otherwise contaminate the water such as with fake tan, makeup, sand, mud, sun cream etc this will incur a call out charge. Call outs for water changes resulting from dirty/ contaminated water will be charged based on location and time spent on the job by the company engineer on call.
Floating chlorine dispenser
If provided with a floating chlorine dispenser you must leave it in the water at all times, this slowly dispenses chlorine over time to maintain the levels.
Gazebos and parasols
If you've also hired a gazebo or parasol please note it may have to be taken down for some or all of your hire period if extreme weather is forecast to prevent damage to it, we regret that this may impact on your enjoyment but we cannot be held responsible for loss of enjoyment due to bad weather conditions.
