Even if you go just to say you’ve driven through Broadwoodwidger… But seriously, Roadford Lake is a staple for us and our little ones.  With a lovely walk around the reservoir, a sweet little playground and brilliant café it’s a great go to when we need to get out and about.  The café does a great children’s menu which includes an activity pack, drink and delicious ice cream!  They also have a lovely little gift shop too for you to have a look in.  For the adventurous types, you can paddleboard, canoe, kayak or sail on the lake.  Tamar Lake isn’t too far either but we much prefer Roadford!
